Budget 2011Today, the government announce its budget for this year. The Finance Minister unveiled 6.6 billion dollars worth of package, it focus mainly on the middle and low-income earners.
Out of $6.6 billion worth package, about $3.2 billion will be set aside for households especially middle and low-income earners. The rest of the package will focus on longer term in social well-being.
In this budget 2011, there are quite a number of changes:

Radio and TV license will be remove with effect from January this year. Those pay for the fee will be return by April.
Spending of $10 billion in upgrading the flats
More financial help to the first time buyers of flats
Employer CPF contributions will increase by another 0.5 per cent to 16 per cent.

Last Day!!Yeah! This is the last day of the term. It's kind of sad because my Year 2 in polytechnic is going to end. Once after my exam, I'm coming to the next level.
Today is quite a long day for me, from morning, having lesson till afternoon, from afternoon, went out with friends. Arriving back home tired and happy is already very late..
In the afternoon, I went out with my friends for a KTV session. For that 3 or 4 hours session, we sing quite a lot of Chinese songs. I don't feel like listing them all. Anyway, this is my first time going to KTV. That was quite a happy and unforgettable experience.
Anyway, this is fun hoping one day there will be a chance to do that again. Feeling such a relaxed after singing quite a number of songs.
