Time flies! Chinese New Year will be ending very soon and a new year starts...
Today is the 15th day of the 1st lunar month...
On the 15th day of 1st lunar month, it is know as Yuan Xiao Festival. It is also know as Lantern Festival. For many Chinese, it is known that Luanr New Year is to be celebrated from the 1st day of the lunar month to the 15th day of the 1st lunar month. It meant that Chinese celebrated its new year for 15 days. So, on the 15th day of 1st lunar month, it marks the end of the lunar new year!
On this day, you are able to see people carrying lanterns (since it is know as lantern festival). However, for those not caaring lanterns, they eat tangyuan.
