Myanmar Cyclone

12 May 2008
Cyclone hit Myanmar badly and leaving behind was the corpses of the dead and the homeless. It was a terrible scene leave behind by the cyclone. One of the example below showed the real life story of a family facing the cyclone when the cyclone approached.
As the cyclone raged around Mr. Ko, he clung to a tree with one arm while clutching his newborn son with his other family members. He managed to hang in there for 10 hours despite the howling winds and pushing rains of Cyclone Nargis which almost took away his life.
At first, the flood washed away his home and later, because of the strong winds, his son died due to shortage of breath.
Cyclone's damage almost took away all the rice farmers' crops which were a source of income for them. About 90% of schools in cyclone hit-areas were damaged. Dead bodies were found everywhere. The conditions there were very terrible.
The only thing to help them are donate items that they needed most, this is the only way out to save them...
